A former member of the Tissamaharama Pradeshiya Sabha Sujeewa Samarasinha sustained injuries as a result of an accident that occurred on Weerawila-Hambantota road. The accident occurred when the the jeep driven by the former PS member met with a head-on collision with a private commuter coach that was on its way to Colombo from Kataragama.
