Preschool teachers in the Eastern Province were provided an allowance by the Eastern Province Early Child Education Bureau functioning under the Education Ministry at the Lee Meridian Auditorium, Saintha Maruthu recently.
Around 3,537 preschool teachers in the Eastern Province benefited under the programme. The Eastern Provincial Council has allocated Rs.148 million for this.
