Special Task Force (STF) personnel attached to the Haputale STF camp arrested four men who were allegedly engaged in illegal cattle transporting during a raid in Haputale. STF personnel arrested the suspects along the Haputale-Boralanda main road.
They seized four cattle, a lorry and a three-wheeler. They also found a 9mm live ammunition in the three-wheeler.
One calf was also in the three-wheeler.
The suspects and apprehended items were handed over to Haputale Police.
