A 32-year-old woman died on admission to hospital following an accident involving a three wheeler and a lorry.
The three wheeler was carrying the driver's wife and his six-year-old son when it collided with a lorry in Peliyagoda police division. The three passengers of the three wheeler were seriously injured and rushed to the Colombo National Hospital where the woman died on admission, the Police Media Unit said.
The victim was a resident of Wattala. The body was handed over to the relatives following the post mortem examination.
