Chief Minister of the Northern Province C. V Wigneswaran and three others have been informed to appear before the Supreme Court on 12,13,17 in connection with the petition filed against the passing of a resolution at the Northern Provincial Council calling for a federal state for the North and East.
The Chief Minister of the Northern Province, Provincial Council Secretary S. Pathmanathan and ITAK Mavai Senathirajah, NPC Chairman C.V.K. Sivagnanam have been named as respondents in the petition.
